How to Read an Eppix Labs Certificate of Analysis
Each lot is sent to an independent laboratory after fill — Janoshik Analytical for almost every lot. The lab runs HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity, and reports the milligrams actually found in the vial. We publish the full report — not a summary — and print the lot number on every label so the vial in your hand matches one row above.
Purity is the share of the target peptide in what’s in the vial. Measured content is how many milligrams are actually there versus the label. A vial can be very pure and still short-filled — that’s why we publish both.
Mean HPLC purity across all 77 lots: 99.47%. 11 measured below 99% and are listed above like every other lot.

What Every Batch Is Tested For
01 · HPLC-UV
Purity
High-performance liquid chromatography separates the target peptide from any impurities and reports purity as a percentage. Most lots measure above 99%; every result is published as reported.
02 · Mass spectrometry
Identity
Molecular weight is measured and matched to the reference value for the sequence, confirming the vial contains the compound on the label.
03 · Quantitation
Measured content
The lab reports milligrams actually present. We publish this beside the label claim so fill accuracy is visible, not assumed.
Random Quality Control on Selected Lots
Beyond the tests every batch gets, we commission additional screening on lots chosen at random: heavy metals, sterility and bacterial endotoxin. These are not ordered for every lot. Where a screen was run, its result is printed on that lot’s certificate and shown on its page exactly as the laboratory reported it. Where it was not, we say nothing rather than imply a test that never happened.
Heavy metals
Arsenic, cadmium, lead, mercury
Peptide material can pick up metal contamination during synthesis, drying or handling. The screen reports each element separately, and the result is published on the lot it was run on, whatever it says.
Sterility
Whether anything grows
A sample from the vial is cultured to see whether anything grows from it. The result describes the lot that was tested and nothing else, and it is not a statement that the material is suitable for any use in humans or animals.
Endotoxin
Bacterial endotoxin present
Measures bacterial endotoxin in the material, reported in endotoxin units as the laboratory prints it.
Certificate of Analysis Questions
Yes. Every lot is tested by an independent laboratory — Janoshik Analytical for almost all of them — and the full report is published here, with the issuing lab named on each row.
On some lots, yes. Purity, identity and measured content are ordered for every batch. Heavy metals, sterility and bacterial endotoxin are additional screens we commission periodically on selected batches to verify quality, so they exist for a minority of lots. Where a screen was run, the result appears on that lot’s certificate page exactly as the laboratory reported it. Where a lot shows no screening result, it was not screened, and we publish that gap rather than hide it.
Type the lot number printed on the label into the search box above, or open the Verify page. The lot number on the vial, the certificate and the lab’s portal all match.
Yes. Every current certificate links to the same report on verify.janoshik.com under the lab’s test ID, so the result can be checked at the source.
Purity is the HPLC percentage of target peptide in the sample. Measured content is the milligrams found versus the label. We publish both on every row.
Each lot is synthesised and filled separately, so purity and content vary slightly. That is why certificates are lot-specific rather than one report per product.
Most lots measure above 99% HPLC purity, but a small number of compounds are harder to synthesise and come back in the high 98s. Those results are published here exactly as reported, next to the measured content, rather than left out of the library.
